Section 1
How to request deletion
Dyne includes a built-in account deletion flow inside the mobile app. For most users, the correct way
to request deletion is to sign in to Dyne, open the Profile screen, choose Delete Account,
type DELETE, and confirm.
If you have an active subscription billed through Google Play or the App Store, manage that
subscription separately before deleting your account if you do not want future renewal charges.
If you can no longer access the app, email
support@dyne.fitness
and include the email address associated with your Dyne account.

Data deleted
Based on the current Dyne app and backend implementation, deleting your account removes the Dyne user
account and the main categories of synced data tied to that account.
- Authentication account and user profile stored by Dyne.
- Training profile fields such as gender, birthdate, height, current weight, training goals, workout frequency, routine preferences, and feature settings.
- Gym profiles and gym equipment or inventory settings.
- User workout templates, workouts, exercise sets, and synced workout history.
- User exercise flags such as favorites, exclusions, and queue state.
- Body logs, measurements, body-fat entries, and strength score records stored in Dyne.
- Weekly workout report records and related report-delivery settings stored in Dyne.
- Referral records directly linked to your Dyne profile.
- Local app data cleared from the current device during deletion cleanup.
Section 3
Data kept or not automatically deleted
Some records are not automatically deleted by the Dyne in-app account deletion flow because they are
managed outside Dyne's core account store or may need to be retained for compliance or operational
reasons.
- Google Play and App Store subscription state is managed separately and is not cancelled by deleting your Dyne account.
- Purchase, billing, payment, tax, refund, and transaction records held by Google Play, Apple, or related billing providers may remain subject to those providers' retention rules.
- Workout or body records previously exported to Apple Health or Health Connect are managed by those platforms, not by the Dyne account deletion flow.
- Support emails or support-chat messages may be retained to respond to requests, maintain security, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
Section 4
Retention timing
The current Dyne deletion flow sends an account deletion request from the signed-in app and removes the
account when that request is processed. Dyne does not currently publish a separate fixed additional
retention period for app data deleted through this flow.
Where Dyne or its providers must retain limited information for legal compliance, fraud prevention,
security, dispute handling, support operations, or store billing obligations, those records may remain
for the period required by applicable law or the provider's own retention policy.
